MLK/Obama USA Service Day

Gary, Gary Jr. and I did our little bit to help on MLK/Obama USA Service Day by signing up to clean up trash on a beach in Poulsbo. It was 27 degrees, foggy and frosty when we got up and we almost talked ourselves out of going, but by the time we got there it was a beautiful sunshiny day that even felt warm once we started moving. We picked up more than 6 bags of trash in a little more than an hour - I was amazed that there was so much trash in such a little area. Afterwards Sadie got to go for a little walk. All in all it was a fun morning!
